The Georgian Military road has great importance not only for Georgia but also for its neighboring countries. The road stretches to 208 km connecting Russia with Georgia through the Caucasian mountain range. It was constructed in the 18th century due to the Georgievsky agreement made by Georgia and Russia, becoming the only road connecting these two countries.
