Paravani Lake

This is the largest Lake in Georgia. It can be a great destination to add when traveling to Ninotsminda. The Paravani lake is frozen in wintertime, and the ice thickness reaches up to 70cm. There are several villages in the surrounding area. It is a great place to have a small picnic or just a relaxation day near the shore. As the lake is situated about 2100m above sea level, the water is cold here most of the time, so it is difficult to swim here.
